Псалтирь – одна из книг Ветхого Завета (у иудеев – «Книга хвалений»), причисляемая к разряду учительных. Называется так потому, что большая часть псалмов содержит в себе хваление, благодарение богу. Аналогия с рабовладельческим обществом, когда рабы хвалили своего рабовладельца, рабы называли его «господь». Общий смысл уничижения, с точки зрения верующих, крайне прост и исходит из принципа талиона: ты – мне, я – тебе, бог за рабское послушание и повиновение даст якобы «райское наслаждение».

Это легенды о «Гайке и Бэле», об «Ара Прекрасном и Шамирам». Хайасы – древние индоевропейцы, а армены (армины) – представители древних арамейско-семитских племён.
